  • For 1-5 Concurrent Remote Users, Remote Desktop Services can be installed on the GeniusDoc server itself.
  • Need to buy Remote Desktop Services User CALs.
  • It is not recommended to host more than 25 Remote Desktop Clients on a single server; instead, it is recommended to use multiple servers in a load-balanced environment.

Bandwidth requirements for remote connectivity will be based on the number of users, and data transfer occurs between main and remote sites. For instance, transferring scanned files from a branch location to the primary location consumes more bandwidth depending on the file size. For this the primary location needs to be provisioned with high bandwidth with same upload and download speeds. Leased line/MPLS, Fiber and Cable is preferred over DSL. DSL is not recommended.

Minimum Recommended Bandwidth: Primary location 1.5 Mbps leased or MPLS and 110 Kbps per remote user
